Braemar has UK's warmest temperature of the year so far

The Aberdeenshire village of Braemar has recorded this year's current warmest temperature.
Reaching 18.6C, the village in the Cairngorms is the UKs warmest, according to BBC Weather.
This is thought to be due to the dry, sunny weather many parts of Scotland has been experiencing the past few days.

Other parts of Aberdeenshire plus Moray and the Highlands have been experiencing some of the UKs best weather this week.
