Weather: Glasgow has the white stuff

BING Crosby, pictured, famously sang about it, and people living in Glasgow are the most likely to see it, according to research.

The city has been shown to be twice as likely as Edinburgh to have a white Christmas, while it happens only once every seven years on average in Aberdeen.

The research, by OnePoll.com, said Norwich was the city least likely to experience a dusting of snow on Christmas Day - with an average occurrence of once every 16 years.

Much more likely to see a white Christmas are Glasgow (every 2.45 years), Edinburgh (4.9 years), Aberdeen (6.9 years), Belfast (7.1 years) and Sunderland (7.3 years).
