Wax Connery to get a kilt

Madame Tussauds in London is to unveil a new look for their waxwork figure of Sir Sean Connery – by dressing him in a traditional tartan kilt.

The model of the 82-year-old Hollywood actor, originally from Edinburgh, is currently dressed in a smart casual check suit with black polo neck.

However, wardrobe supervisor Jane Anderson has decided to give him a makeover, by using New York tartan.

Ms Anderson said: “We often create new outfits for the figures to keep them fresh and interesting, and it’s always fun to create something a bit different.”
