Waste centre work begins

Maintenance work has begun at Linlithgow Community Recycling Centre.

The centre will be open during normal hours but may need to temporarily close for brief periods to allow material to be safely removed from the site.

During these brief closure periods, signs will be on display, with council staff on hand to direct residents to other recycling sites.

The layout at the site will also be altered while the work is ongoing, including levelling uneven surfaces to improve health and safety for staff and residents using the centre.

The essential work is expected to be completed by Friday, September 30.
