Warning after woman attacked by cabbie

DETECTIVES have warned late-night clubbers to avoid using unlicensed mini-cabs after a woman was indecently assaulted in Glasgow.

The victim got into a blue saloon, thinking it was her cab, and the driver then drove her to the East End where he assaulted her. The attacker is described as Asian, in his thirties and with a moustache.

Detective Constable Graham McCreadie said: "It's possible this man has approached other women, pretending to be a taxi driver, and I urge them to get in touch with us."
