Wallace and Gromit's big adventure

ANIMATED heroes Wallace and Gromit took time out from their hectic adventures to have a cracking time at a city hospital.

The Oscar-winning stars of the smash-hit movie "The Curse of the Were Rabbit" dropped into the Sick Kids Hospital yesterday to hand out gifts and stickers much to the delight of the children.

The duo's surprise visit to the hospital was part of a UK tour to urge people to take part in this year's Wallace and Gromit's Wrong Trousers' Day.

The national event, which is to take place on June 23, will see thousands of people across the UK raise cash for children's hospitals and hospices by paying a pound to go to work or school in wacky trousers.
