Walker injured in 40ft ravine fall

A WALKER who fell 40ft down a ravine in Perthshire is recovering in hospital.

The man, who is in his 50s, was airlifted to Belford Hospital in Fort William on Thursday after the incident at the Meggernie Estate in Glen Lyon.

It is understood he had been on holiday in the area.
