Vote heroine joins party

RENOWNED suffragette supporter Catherine Blair will attend a celebration marking the centenary of International Women's Day in East Lothian tomorrow.

Ms Blair, the founder of WRI Scotland, will be joined at the event by Julie Orford from the National Museums Scotland who will recount stories of women working at RAF bases during the Second World War.

The free celebration will be held at Longniddry Community Centre between 7-9pm and tickets are available from Longniddry Library or by phoning 01620 828222.
