Vote district is flat out wrong

A BLOCK of new-build flats was put in the wrong election polling district - then changed following the intervention of a local councillor.

Caiystane Court had been included in the Fountainbridge/Craiglockhart ward by electoral registration officers. But Colinton/Fairmilehead councillor Jason Rust contacted officers to point out that the block should be within his ward.

Officers have confirmed that he is correct and the records have been amended.
