Visible pupils whatever way you slice it

CHILDREN at Royal Mile Primary have been given reflective waistcoats to make them stand out when they are out and about.

Primary three pupils Joe Turner, Brooke Herriot, Michaela Glackin and Delbir Kaur, pictured, tested the high-visibility garments, which have been donated by Warburtons as part of its Use Your Loaf campaign.

School head Nicky Johnston said: "We are thrilled to receive these high-visibility waistcoats from Warburtons. The safety of our children is paramount and this reusable resource can be used to keep classes safe for years to come."
