Village ban on street drinking
A BAN on consuming alcohol in public has been introduced in a Lothian village in a bid to combat under-age drinking.
The prohibition is now running in Whitecraig, East Lothian, after being approved by council chiefs.
An application for a by-law covering the village was made by members of Whitecraig community council.
