Video: Scotland's spectacular landscapes captured by drone

A Scottish photographer has captured stunning scenes around Scotland's landscapes by drone.

Mo Thomson filmed scenery throughout the Highlands and Western Isles over the course of winter 2015 and spring this year.

Some of the locations he visited include Luskentyre beach and Scarista beach on the Isle of Harris.

Thomson also captured timelapse footage of the Northern Lights on camera at a windfarm near near Taynuilt.

Wintery scenes at Rannoch Moor and Lochan an Tairbh alongside the A9 as well as Loch Cul Dromannan near Ullapool, the Kilt Rock and Mealt waterfall on the Isle of Skye and Loch Lubnaig near Callander also appear in the short film.
