Video: ‘Impatient’ dog honks car horn

WE’VE ALL got fed up waiting for someone to return from an errand, but this dog, left in a car in Broughty Ferry while her owners went shopping, had had enough and took action.

Fern, pet boxer of Graham and Fiona Haddow, jumped into the driver’s seat of Graham’s car and pushed her paw onto the vehicle’s horn, holding it there for around a quarter of an hour.

Amused passers-by stopped to watch and take video of Graham’s impatient canine, until the retired 58-year-old, from Liff, returned to his car.

He spoke of his surprise at Fern’s ability to use the car’s horn, suggesting that he might have to take action to prevent similar from happening in the future.

And Graham’s wife Fiona described the boxer as a ‘bit of a diva’.

The video has already attracted thousands of views on YouTube.
