Video: Fancy a move? Tiny Scottish island seeks new settlers

The small island of Easdale on the west coast of Scotland has made a beautiful video showcasing island life in order to attract new residents.

Situated a just a few hundred metres of the Argyll coast, the little slate island of Easdale, has released a film in order to promote life on the isle.

The smallest permanetly inhabited island in the Inner Hebrides has 70 residents and wants more.

The tiny island is tucked close to the Argyll coast.

Easdale makes up four slate islands, that collectively, were once home to 3,000 people who worked in the slate mines during the 19th century.

The islanders of Easdale are once again beginning to thrive but are fearful of the community’s long-term sustainability.

It’s hoped the video, produced by locals, will entice a new wave settlers.
