Victim's family pay tribute to man who put others first
Simon San, 40, below, was walking from his car in Edinburgh at 10pm on Wednesday when he was assaulted and fell to the ground, hitting his head.
The Vietnamese man was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with a suspected brain injury and died on Thursday.

Hide AdPolice have launched a murder investigation. No-one has been arrested in connection with the death.
His family said: "Simon was a shy, hard-working and non-indulgent man. He would often prioritise others over himself.
"He always believed in the passive way of life and never resorted to any sort of violence."
Earlier this week, police said three people from a larger group of 16 to 17-year-olds were responsible for the attack.
The group approached the driver in his car before one youth carried out the assault in Lochend Avenue near the Loch Inn pub.
The youths, thought to be local, made off into a lane near Bethlehem Way, leading to Hawkhill. Police described the main suspect as 5ft 10in tall, with short black hair, a slim face and wearing a black fleece top.
