Vandals strike at ancient village

VANDALS daubed graffiti on the 5,000-year-old Neolithic village of Skara Brae in Orkney, one of Europe's most important prehistoric sites.

It is thought the culprits spent the night there. Written on the interior wall of one of six ancient houses were the words "Brian Finlay slept here 13-8-2007" and "scouse celts".
