Vampire jets and ducks fly in at airshow

A VAMPIRE jet engine, wing-walkers and sheepdogs guiding a flock of ducks are among the attractions promised at this year's Airshow at the East Fortune Museum of Flight.

The annual event will see stunning aerial displays from the Aerostar display team, and the fearless Breitling Wing Walkers, the world's only formation wing-walking team.

There will also be a chance to see Starduster and Tiger Moth biplanes, a Hawk Jet and a Vampire jet-engine fighter,

There will also be a fly-past from a Supermarine Spitfire, evoking memories of the Battle of Britain 70 years ago in which they played a vital role.

On the ground, entertainment includes the Clan BMX stunt team, live concert band music, and the Quack Commandos, which sees sheepdogs guiding ducks round an obstacle course

This year's Airshow will be held at East Fortune airfield on Saturday, 24 July, from 10am.
