Katie Barnett was on holiday with her family when her home in McArthur, Ohio was repossessed. According to the Associated Press, Ms Barnett returned home to find the locks changed and her possessions gone. She is demanding $18,000 to replace the lost items.

The First National Bank of Wellston, which ordered the repossession, said that Ms Barnett’s house was confused with the target property on the same street after it was wrongly marked on the driver’s sat-nav.

The bank’s CEO told the AP that Barnett’s claim does not match the items removed, but that she will be compensated.
