Ure gets on board

SCOTTISH Music legend Midge Ure is to help musicians protect their rights after being appointed to the board of an Edinburgh company.

Ure, a driving force behind Band Aid and the former frontman of Ultravox, has been appointed to the board of CCW Long Play, based in Charlotte Square,

which has been set up to manage and exploit the copyrights created by musicians.
