University in OAP appeal

A UNIVERSITY is appealing for over-75s in Edinburgh to take part in an ageing process study.

St Andrews University has targeted city residents in the hope of finding willing participants.

It says the findings about perceptions relating to old age will help prepare the country for the challenges of an ageing population.

A university spokeswoman said: "It is hoped we will be better equipped to tackle stereotypes and prejudices while supporting psychological well-being within our aging population."
