Union demands loo breaks for workers

UNION leaders have called for proper lavatory breaks, saying some workers are not allowed to go to the toilet during shifts.

The TUC complained many employees had no access to toilets or had to use dirty, poorly-maintained ones.

It also said some employers believe staff should go to the lavatory in their own time.
