Uni 54th best in the world

EDINBURGH University has been ranked the 54th best university in the world.

It comes ahead of other UK universities including King's College London, the University of Bristol and the University of Sheffield - in the Academic Ranking of World Universities.

British universities now account for just 11 places in the top 100.
