Underlay workers facing redundancy

MORE than 50 workers are facing redundancy following the closure of a carpet underlay factory in Dumfries.

Interfloor, which employs a total of 109 staff at three sites in the town, is planning to close its Tredaire division at Heathhall and move manufacturing to Lancashire.
