Ukrainians mark Nazi massacre

Hundreds of people gathered in the Ukrainian capital yesterday to mark the 69th anniversary of the Nazi massacre of tens of thousands of Jews.

President Viktor Yanukovych, government officials and relatives of the victims laid flowers at the monument to 37,000 killed by the Nazis in 1941 in the Babi Yar ravine in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev.
