Your dog really is listening to you

Dogs respond to human communication in much the same way as very young children, research has shown.

Hungarian scientists found that dogs pick up both on words and the intention to communicate. Study leader Dr Jozsef Topal said: “Increasing evidence supports the notion that humans and dogs share some social skills.”
