X Factor judge Gary Barlow threatened to walk away from show

X FACTOR judge Gary Barlow says he will quit the ITV show if its judging process descends into farce again.

The Take That singer has held talks with the show’s bosses after the elimination process on Sunday night’s episode turned into a shambles.

Barlow’s co-judge Louis Walsh was seen taking guidance from producer Richard Holloway during the live show.

The 60-year-old appeared to back-track from a decision to send Ryan Clark home and left the final decision to a phone vote which resulted in Carolynne Poole being sent home.

Barlow is understood to have met with ITV boss Elaine Beddell and X Factor executive producers O’Leary and Holloway to discuss the incident .

The Sun reports today that there had been fears Barlow would not appear on the show this weekend but, according to the paper, he has agreed to continue with his role providing safeguards are put in place to avoid a repeat of Sunday’s controversy.
