Woman loses leg on fairground log ride

A GRANDMOTHER lost her leg when she and her granddaughter were thrown from a fairground log flume.

The 58-year-old woman and the four-year-old girl both suffered serious injuries on the seafront ride in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, on Sunday.
