Woman gives birth to 12lb 9oz baby

A WOMAN has given birth to what is believed to be one of the biggest ever baby girls in the UK.

Farrah Gallacher was 12lb and 9oz when she was born at the Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

Karen Gallacher said she realised her baby was one of the biggest after an internet search. Farrah was born on August 8 to parents Karen and Robert.
