Woman arrested over fire that killed two children

A WOMAN was being questioned by police today over a house fire which claimed the lives of two young children.

Niamh and Cayden Maynard, aged five and two, died in the blaze at their home in Buxton, Derbyshire, last Friday night.

Their mother, 23-year-old Fiona Adams, jumped to safety from a window with her eight-month-old son Kiernan.

Last night Derbyshire Police said a 23-year-old woman had been arrested over the incident.
