Witness appeal after boy killed in party stabbing

POLICE appealed today for guests at a birthday party to come forward after a 16-year-old youth was stabbed to death.

Wesley Sterling was killed in an incident near Croydon Sports Arena in south London yesterday morning. A 15-year-old boy arrested in connection with the investigation has been released on bail to return on a date in June, police said.

Officers were called to the venue after reports of a disturbance outside.
