Widdecombe's resignation fuels bullying charity row

A BULLYING charity was in turmoil today after a Tory MP Ann Widdecombe became the latest patron to quit.

She said she was concerned that National Bullying Helpline founder Christine Pratt betrayed confidences by disclosing that it received calls from Number 10 staff.

Ms Widdecombe delivered a rebuke to the Government as she announced her departure, saying its reaction "gives a great deal of credibility to those who say it is a bullying institution".
