Welsh politician given driving ban

A WELSH Assembly member who was more than twice 
the legal drink-drive limit has 
been banned from driving for 20 months.

South Wales West AM Bethan Jenkins was on her way to her parents’ home in Merthyr Tydfil after a friend’s birthday party when police stopped her at 1:30am on 14 October, Cardiff magistrates heard yesterday.
