Video: Geri Halliwell performs impromptu pub gig

SPICE Girl Geri Halliwell treated drinkers to an impromptu gig at a pub as she burst into song in front of bemused punters.

Halliwell, 40, was filmed by a friend breaking into a verse of 1996 hit Say You’ll Be There to a crowd of not-terribly impressed men.

Turning to the camera, Ginger Spice then appeared to suggest that she had been egged on by bandmate Mel C as part of a series of dares initiated via Twitter.

After finishing the song, one punter was heard saying: “How much do you want,” to a chorus of laughter from his friends.

“I’ve done it - Melanie, it’s your turn!” Halliwell then says, looking more than a little embarrassed.

Ex-bandmate Mel B tweeted: “@GeriHalliwell just saw your video,only ginger spice could do this.And that why I love you!!! Xxxxx.”
