Victoria station indident deemed ‘non-suspicious’

Passengers were quickly evacuated from Victoria underground station in London following instructions by staff following of an emergency incident.

Official channels for Transport for London have confirmed that services were delayed due to ‘a person on the track’ - who is currently being treated at the scene for injuries.

However, the incident is being treated as ‘non-suspicious’

Emergency services were called to the scene including the scene sparking speculation of a fire on a train and dangerous persons, all which turned out to be false.

The transport line has confirmed that they have resumed services on the Victoria line, but are not stopping at Victoria Station.

Victoria is a terminal station for commuter services, England’s south west and express trains to Gatwick Airport.
