Union welcomes Kraft probe

Bath: Union leaders welcomed confirmation that executives from US food giant Kraft and Cadbury are to give evidence to a committee of MPs on the takeover of the chocolate firm.

Marc Firestone, director of Kraft Foods, and Trevor Bond, president of Cadbury, will be questioned by the Business Select Committee next Tuesday.

Kraft was criticised after going back on a pledge to keep open a Cadbury factory near Bath, resulting in the loss of 400 jobs.
