Mansfield: A curious fox cub nearly saw its life go down the drain after getting its head stuck in an unused sink's plug hole, the RSPCA has said.

The fox was investigating an old stone sink at the bottom of a garden in Mansfield when it got its head wedged, but RSPCA workers eased it free with the aid of cooking oil.
