TV signal back after fire

ABOUT 400,000 homes had their television reception back today after a fire engulfed a 200-metre high transmitter.

The blaze at the Beckley transmitter yesterday cut the signal for homes in Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire. The signal was restored at a 9:30pm yesterday.
