TV appeal over violent death of police officer

THE violent death of a serving police officer will be featured on BBC's Crimewatch tonight in a new bid to catch his killers.

Pc Mike Silcock, 30, of Greater Manchester Police was out with his brother and a friend when he was hit by a gold BMW outside a pub in Stockport, on March 6 last year.

The car sped away as Pc Silcock was left lying on the road.
