Train cleaners to stage walkout

Workers who clean trains on two of the country’s busiest rail routes are to stage a 24-hour strike over pay.

Members of the Rail Maritime and Transport union employed by contractor ISS on East Coast and London Midland will walk out on Monday. after voting massively in favour of industrial action on news that there would be no pay rise for three years.
