Towering target at Queen Mother castle

WORK has begun on a new turret at the Queen Mother's old home, the Castle of Mey, near John O'Groats, so that people can get a bird's-eye view of the gardens that captivated her.

A buy-a-brick appeal aims to raise 35,000 to build the turret and anyone donating 1,000 will have their name recorded on it.
