Tories drag SNP into scare tactics with poster
THE Conservatives have warned a post-election pact between Labour and the SNP would mean “chaos for Britain” as the party launched a new election poster, showing images of the bodies of Ed Miliband and Alex Salmond merged together and standing outside 10 Downing Street.
Conservative election campaign officials are running the campaign in response to suggestions that the SNP could help to prop-up a minority Labour government in the event of a hung parliament.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and Mr Salmond, who has announced his intention to stand for election to the Commons, have both ruled out the prospect.
