Sweeney remake picks ‘sensible’ car

THE STARS of The Sweeney have got a new – smaller – motor.

The original 1970s show saw John Thaw and Dennis Waterman chase villians in Ford Granadas. The remake, starring Ray Winstone and Ben Drew, puts them behind the wheel of a Ford Focus.
