Suzy Lamplugh’s mother dies

The mother of murdered estate agent Suzy Lamplugh died yesterday, at the age of 75.

Campaigner Diana Lamplugh died in her sleep after suffering a massive stroke, the charity she founded said. She set up the Suzy Lamplugh Trust after her 25-year-old daughter disappeared in 1986, having left her west London offices to meet a mystery client known only as Mr Kipper.

Miss Lamplugh’s remains have never been found, but she was declared dead, presumed murdered, in 1994.
