Student loans firm chief quits his post

THE head of the beleaguered Student Loans Company has quit his post.

Ralph Seymour-Jackson resigned as chief executive after a healthcheck of the company found there are still causes for concern. Tens of thousands of students faced delays last year as the SLC struggled with demand.
