Soap star charged with drink driving

CORONATION Street star Susan Cleaver has been charged with drink-driving, police said yesterday.

The actress, who plays Eileen Grimshaw, was stopped by officers in Northenden, Greater Manchester, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

The 46-year-old was breathalysed and charged with driving with excess alcohol.
