Sentencing delay for killer mother

THE sentencing of a woman who drowned her daughter in a burn was postponed yesterday.

Rachel Cowley, 43, who admitted culpable homicide on grounds of diminished responsibility, has been held in a psychiatric unit since she killed her girl, Isabelle, four, in February. Yesterday, she refused to leave the clinic to attend the High Court in Edinburgh.
