Second job levels surge

AN increasing number of workers are being forced to take a second job to make ends meet, according to a new report today.

A survey of more than 1,000 adults found the number having two jobs rose from 26 per cent to 38 per cent in the past year. Employment law firm Peninsula warned those with two jobs could be risking health problems.
