Royal Mail all set for Christmas rush

ROYAL Mail was expecting to experience its busiest day of the year yesterday handling more than ten million letters, cards and parcels as the Christmas rush gets under way.

More than 180 million items will be delivered over the festive period in Scotland. The last posting date for second-class mail is 17 December and for first-class mail is 20 December.
