Royal couple to visit Australia
THE Queen will carry out a series of engagements in Australia before attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) next month, Buckingham Palace has said.
She will be joined by the Duke of Edinburgh for her first trip to the country in five years.
The Australian city of Perth is hosting CHOGM – a three-day gathering of world leaders which is staged every two years, beginning on 28 October.
