Robin Hood Tax to target bank deals

POLITICIANS were yesterday urged to back a "Robin Hood tax" on banks' financial transactions to raise billions of pounds to fight poverty and climate change.

A coalition of charities, green groups and unions called on all parties to support a tax on banks to tackle the "human damage" caused by the financial crisis.
